Had crown come off over weekend. Called first thing Monday and they worked me in that morning. I had recently moved in the area and left my dentist I had for years that I had complete trust in with his work and professionalism. Hard to give that up. I was a new patient here and drove up from Santa Fe. Everything was great beginning from when I scheduled my appointment. They got me in quite fast considering how backed up things are due to the pandemic. I had to reschedule a couple times due to being located an hour away, but the staff accommodated me every time. Once The day for my appointment came, they were fast at getting me back & I experienced little to no wait time at all. The procedures were quick and the hygienist was amazing and friendly and did an excellent job. Shortly after she finished my cleaning, Dr. Katrina Collins came back and was also very kind and punctual. Before I know it, my appointment was done and I was out the door! Very excited to have a new dentist I can trust and look forward to continuing my dental needs with them.

Usually I only leave reviews on places that serve food, but I had to make an exception. This office was amazing, I had an accident and broke my tooth severely, half came out on its own, the other half clearly needed to be pulled. Not only did they work very hard to get me in ASAP after learning how poorly I was doing, the office staff were very friendly, very accommodating of the fact that I needed my wife/caretaker with me, and very prompt in calling back that evening to see if I was doing alright. I've had one other tooth removed at a different office in a different state, and after that I slept for like two days straight and spent another week feeling gross and miserable afterwards. I was totally prepared to feel the same way and buckled down for it, went home, and took a nap to wait for the numbness to wear off. Guys? I have Zero pain, at all, I had to have a whole broken root pulled out and with the exception of a spot on my cheek I accidentally bit while I was numb (oops) my mouth feels amazing! Of course I'm listening to what I was told and sticking to soft foods until I'm sure it's healed more, but I cannot even begin to tell you what a relief it is not only to have that awful broken tooth out, but also to not have the removal site hurt or have the severe post surgical grossness I often get bog me down. I'll definitely be going back to this dentist for future work! They're pretty booked due to Covid backups at the moment like everyone else, but I am more than happy to wait for the kindness I received! The dentist herself was very bubbly and cheery and nice, I have a condition that weakened my enamel so my teeth are pretty sad despite me caring for them and she didn't make me feel guilty about it or blame me for it at all. Very understanding of my pre existing condition! Excited to finally get all the work I need done when I can!

Dr. Collins, Mel and Dawn were excellent. I had a cracked tooth which I had had a root canal on, the tooth had to be extracted. This was indeed an emergency. It's been 48 hours and is still somewhat swollen and sore but I have plenty of meds to make my level of comfort bearable. It was a great team effort, thank you for taking me so quickly. I don't think I could have gone any longer with out the surgery. I'll be back in 2 weeks for an implant. Thanks again for the quick and professional response. I can reccomend Collins Dental as they were recommended to me by Tony Esquibel. Thanks to Tony. Actually this was from my first visit but then I had another emergency today. Again, I wish to recognize Marissa and Veronica for exceptional assistance today. Marissa was the Dental Hygienist who walked me through the entire procedure of removing another tooth that had seen its final day. It was over 70 years old . Veronica is helping me understand the complicated world of insurance. Meghan then called after hours checking on me and making sure there were no complications. Thank you Ladies! Where do I start. My teeth were in horrible shape requiring major surgery and several implants, bone graphs with the removal of approximately 14 teeth. Las Vegas NM usually doesn’t have gems like Collins Dental, we are blessed to have this facility! I was traumatized from a previous in town dentist 12 years ago. My wisdom tooth cracked off five months ago and ruined my Christmas 2018 with immense pain. While all the other dentists in town stayed on vacation (because apparently your teeth are invincible on the holidays🙄), Collins Dental got me in within a day after I called after being referred by another local office. Because of the aforementioned childhood trauma, I was extremely nervous and anxious. The wonderful dental assistant eased my worries and answered all my questions. I apologized to her and the doctor because of my anxiety, they treated me with dignity and respect and helped me calm down tremendously. Before I knew it, all my wisdom teeth were pulled properly and I was given instructions and an emergency number for my recovery. This office is so amazing, I’m actually wanting to go back to the dentist again! I’m mad at myself for not remembering my dental assistants name, but her and Dr Collins were amazing. First impressions matter and even the receptionist was kind and polite. I will only trust Collins Dental with my dentistry needs and will only refer them to friends or family. I’m on day two of recovery with only slight discomfort in my jaw, but I’m functioning properly and feel great and blessed to have such an experience, especially considering what I read online on Facebook from friends and family.
